To support its accessible rebrand, PolicyMe initiated a full redesign of its Webflow website.
Make our website accessible by using ARIA labels and exceeding the minimum WCAG standards
Standardize all of our components and typography styles and layouts
Maintain visual consistency across all pages
As the team member most impacted by time-consuming Webflow tasks, my goal was to streamline the process so others could make edits—freeing me up to focus on higher-impact product design work.
We started by weighing the pros and cons of building a new site from scratch versus working with our existing one. In the end, starting fresh proved to be the most efficient and effective choice.
I utilized our new accessible components to craft more refined and streamlined designs that adhered to SEO best practices while ensuring clarity and ease of use.
CandidLeap streamlined our Webflow site by eliminating technical debt, implementing our design system, and ensuring accessibility compliance. They optimized section components and slots, making page building faster and more reliable.
Working on a rebrand and redesigning accessible components made me a more thoughtful and adaptable designer. It strengthened my ability to balance aesthetics with functionality, ensuring designs are inclusive and user-friendly. Prioritizing accessibility refined my approach to usability, contrast, and interaction, while collaboration with cross-functional teams reinforced strategic thinking. This experience has sharpened my attention to detail and ability to create scalable, meaningful user experiences.
This helped me to increase my collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. It taught me how to align creative vision with business goals, manage expectations, and provide constructive feedback. It also helped to strengthen adaptability, and relationship-building, ensuring a shared vision and successful outcomes.
