PolicyMe’s updated brand evolution needed a new web home
PolicyMe’s evolving brand demanded a website that could:
Reflect the new visual identity
Support stronger accessibility standards
Enable marketing and content teams to move faster
But the existing Webflow site wasn’t built to scale:
It had rigid templates and layouts
It lacked consistent, reusable components
It required heavy maintenance for every change
We needed a strategic redesign that:
Improved site maintainability and performance
Supported long-term growth and brand consistency
Enabled cross-functional teams to iterate without bottlenecks
In this project, I led:
Webflow collaboration management with CandidLeap, including scope, feedback cycles, and QA
Component and page design, balancing aesthetics, accessibility, and performance
Design system translation into Webflow components, ensuring fidelity and scalability
As the team member most impacted by time-consuming Webflow tasks, my goal was to streamline the process so others could make edits—freeing me up to focus on higher-impact product design work.

Webflow slots and components
We approached the rebuild with a component-first and slot-based design strategy, ensuring the system could scale long after launch.
Slot-based layouts
These allowed sections to be dragged, reordered, and swapped without breaking structure
Used Webflow slots to create modular components that act as placeholders, allowing sections to swap in different elements without breaking structure

Component properties
These enabled customization (component width, alignment, background color, illustration placement, copy size and weight) without duplicating designs
Allowed us to create reusable UI blocks that keep layouts consistent and scalable across the site
Many section components became reusable for different layouts simply by hiding or making the slots visible

I crafted refined and streamlined designs that adhered to SEO best practices while ensuring clarity and ease of use.

Success metrics
Fully eliminated Webflow maintenance from my role (100% reduction) by empowering marketing to self-serve
Ability to create and launch new pages in hours instead of days
1 central source of truth for typography, buttons, spacing, and components
Cut Webflow QA time in half by standardizing structure
What I learned
Skill Development
Became a more thoughtful and adaptable designer by working on an inclusive rebrand
It strengthened my ability to balance aesthetics with functionality, ensuring designs are inclusive and user-friendly.
Collaboration & Professional Growth
Improved collaboration with cross-functional teams, reinforcing strategic problem-solving
Working cross-functionally with other departments such as marketing to align on direction and make trade-offs
Learning that a rebrand succeeds only when people across the company can use it, not just designers
